Q: How do I know this is not a scam?
A: Complex Inform, LLC is registered with the state of Texas and is searchable as a public record. We only partner with Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited businesses such as Arise Virtual Solutions.
Q: What is Complex Inform, LLC?
A: Companies outsource their call volume through Arise Virtual Solutions . Arise then outsources to companies like Complex Inform LLC to find the people that are working from home and connect them to the clients in need of services. You certify for the company you choose to provide your services to and start taking inbound customer service calls from your home.
Q: Will I be an employee of Complex Inform, LLC?
A: No. You will be an independent contractor. An independent contractor does not have taxes removed from their pay. The contractor is responsible for reporting and paying for their own taxes, insurance, and other benefits. If you partner with Complex Inform, LLC, you are not eligible for medical/dental/life insurance or worker's compensation. As an independent contractor, many of the expenses required to start working from home, such as headsets and training expenses are tax deductible* (Consult a tax advisor for specific information).
Q: Can I work from anywhere?
A: You must legally reside in the United States and must be 18 years or older. If you move, you are able to bring your work with you!
Q: What fees will I have to pay?
A: We have a flat service fee is $25 per invoice in addition to the fee our partner charges which is $19.75. We pay our contractors on the 1st and 15th of the month.
Complex Inform, LLC has to cover business costs including Partner fee’s, computers, bank fees, software costs, direct deposit fee’s and more. Our low, flat service fee allows us to provide you with support during your certification process and beyond. We want you to succeed!
Q: Am I responsible for my own taxes?
A: You are an Authorized agent, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor or Freelancer and are responsible for your own taxes. Complex Inform, LLC does not take any taxes out on your behalf. You will receive a 1099 at the end of the year if you made $600 or more.
Furthermore you are not eligible to receive unemployment, overtime or benefits as Authorized agents, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors and Freelancers.
I would advise you to meet with a tax specialist to go over what you are able to write off and what deductions you can take as an independent contractor.
Q: What are the steps to be my own boss?
Make sure you have a working computer that will meet Arise’s guidelines. See technical requirements here.
Purchase a USB headset for your certification class. This is a headset that plugs into your computer.
Purchase a headset that can plug into your telephone. (Cordless phones are not accepted).
Have or prepare to have a land-line telephone with no features or a digital phone line through your cable or internet company.
You will receive an email once you have chosen a client with links to fill out your affidavit of ID, proof of servicing address, proof of identity, W9 form and Direct Deposit form. These forms must be completed before you are allowed to service a client.
